Our American
version of Christianity...
it isn't working.
If you grew up in an American church, you were shaped by one of two messages: the Prosperity Gospel or the Providential God Gospel. Maybe you’re not even sure which one—it doesn’t matter.
What matters is this: you know something isn’t working.
Your faith was supposed to make you whole, but instead it’s left you burned out, anxious, or stuck.
That’s the crack in the foundation Prosperity to Providence was written to expose—and rebuild.
Let’s be honest: Christians aren’t living any freer than non-Christians. Burnout, depression, divorce—we’re matching the world blow for blow. That should stop us in our tracks.
What gives? Why aren’t we living the promise Jesus made to us? He said He came to give us life to the fullest—not just survival, not just “hanging on till heaven,” but an abundant life. A great life.
So let’s ask the real question: if Jesus offered us the Kingdom of Heaven—where…
- The poor hear good news
- Broken hearts are mended
- Captives walk free
- Blind eyes are opened
- The oppressed are lifted—no matter race or class
…then why is it so hard to get life to actually work for us?
If Christianity really is the path to peace and freedom, why are we still working overtime to convince others (or ourselves) that it’s real?
Why are 59% of pastors depressed while 44% of Americans are concerned about their mental health?
Let that sink in—pastors are literally more emotionally distraught than the average American.
If the people preaching “abundant life” can’t live it, how are the rest of us supposed to?
The American version of Christianity
isn't working.

It's time we say the quiet part out loud: this isn't working!
I know, because I lived it.
My nickname was “Special Ops” in the megachurch world—Director of Operations for two of the fastest-growing churches in America. And yet behind the scenes, I was unraveling. Panic attacks. Clinical breakdown. A dysphoric disorder. Multiple chronic diseases. The textbook dark night of the soul.
And I couldn’t shake the contradiction: with Christianity preached in America since its foundation, millions of churches, endless podcasts, livestreams, and “10 Steps to Freedom” sermons… shouldn’t life be incredible by now?
Jesus said we could move mountains and do greater things than He did. Instead, we’ve been taught that life is just about giving God glory while we suffer.
And then we die.
This sucks. So—what gives?
I decided to put everything I thought I knew about God to the test.
No more blind acceptance. If I couldn’t prove it in Scripture—and see fruit in my actual life—I threw it out.
I spent the next decade going all in:
- I studied the great moves of God in history.
- I dug into the doctrines that have divided the church for centuries.
- I read 100+ books spanning theologians, psychologists, thought leaders, and revivalists.
- I even dove into quantum physics.
And guess what I found?
The two doctrines preached in nearly every Christian church today CANNOT stand up to the full counsel of the Bible.
Neither one passes the test of the Gospel of Peace—the very gospel Jesus taught.
No wonder so many Christians are still stuck in addiction, codependency, destructive relationships, and chronic health problems.
When I finally saw the truth about God, I was instantly healed from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.
And that was just the beginning.
Now, I’m here to help you walk the same road. Prosperity to Providence is the result of 27 years of digging—through theology, human behavior, and emotional intelligence—and putting it all into practice until it worked in real life. Long before I ever taught a word of it, I lived it. And it hasn’t failed me yet.
